Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, is now stocking the new AD7134 precision analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices, Inc. The high-performance, quad-channel ADC boasts an inherent anti-aliasing capability, rejecting signals by up to 102.5 dB and eliminating the need for a complicated external anti-aliasing filter. The ADC supports a wide range of applications, including electrical test and measurement, three-phase power quality analysis, sonar, audio testing, and condition monitoring for predictive maintenance.

The Analog Devices AD7134 ADC, available from Mouser Electronics, uses the continuous-time sigma-delta (CTSD) modulation scheme, removing the traditional switched capacitor circuitry sampling and leading to a relaxation of the ADC input driving requirement. The device uses four parallel independent converter channels, with each featuring a CTSD modulator, digital decimation, and filtering path. The ADC supports simultaneous sampling of four different signal sources, each with a maximum input bandwidth of 391.5 kHz, with excellent channel-to-channel phase and gain matching. Supporting output data rates up to 1.496 MSPS, the AD7134 delivers 24-bit performance with low latency, making it an ideal choice for high-precision, multi-channel control loops.

Mouser also stocks the EVAL-AD7134FMCZ evaluation board, which provides a demonstration platform for the AD7134 ADC. The board includes two pre-mounted AD7134 devices to enable multi-device simultaneous sampling. The EVAL-AD7134FMCZ evaluation board requires the EVAL-SDP-CH1Z high-speed controller board, which can then connect to a PC using a USB 2.0 high-speed port.
