Q1 inventories for semiconductor companies, distributors and customers increased q-o-q and y-o-y says the company.
“Total supply chain inventory is at record levels (25% above median), keeping us cautious about conditions into second half 2019,” said Morgan Stanley analysts Joseph Moore and Craig Hettenbach in a note to customers yesterday.
Chip inventories at semiconductor companies rose by eight days to 93 days in Q1 from Q4 which Is 34% above the historical median of 69 days.
